Video

Having difficulty inserting Dextenza into a tiny puncta? Watch how the Cykiert DexSerter2 technique gets Dextenza into virtually all puncta, small or large.

The key is to use the blunt 25-guage needle as a guidewire for inserting the flexible, plastic 22-gauge cannula into the puncta and canaliculus.

To guarantee  proper placement of the Dextenza in the canaliculus, you must first withdraw the plastic cannula  prior to pulling the  blunt needle out of the  puncta.
